Bratislava, lecture-metitation weekend, Karol Sleczek (PL)

The progam starts on Friday, 29.5. at 20:00 with a public lecture, which will happen in our current center on Moskovská 21 street. The topic of the lecture is "Permanent hapiness from the buddhist point of view".

The rest of the program will be held for the first time in our new place on Kyjevská 9 street, and you can enjoy the atmosphere here during Saturday and Sunday, May 30.-31.

Altough this new place is far from the state of reconstruction we are planning for the usage in the following years and there are various and intense construction works being underway at this time, still, we would like to have a short break and spend this weekend here with meditation and lectures. Please be aware that the lavatories are available only outside of the building, meaning Toi Toi toilets and an outside shower.

The place will be prepared to the extent of what is possible, meaning it will be clean, tidy, the electricity is working already and we have some sort of electrical heaters in case of need. Sleeping directly on Kyjevská is possible for the rock-solid jogis, others can sleepover in our current center on Moskovská street (altough we only have a one bathroom joint with a shower). For this reason there will be also a possibility to spend the nights at our sangha friends places. That is also an important reason for you to REGISTER:

• 19:00 - lecture - Guruyoga - teacher and student relationship

About Karol Sleczek (PL):

Karol Sleczek is an internationally known and admired teacher of Diamond Way Buddhism. He has been practicing since the late 70s. He used to be a university professor of philosophy in Krakow, the president of the Polish Diamond Way Association and was also the owner of a restaurant. He is teaching since the late 80s on behalf of Lama Ole Nydahl's wish and he has been visiting Slovakia regularly since our first contact with the Diamond Way in the late 90s. Karol is married and has one son.
