Deeply moved, we share the news that our teacher Lama Ole, has left his body. “In a completely natural and peaceful way – marked as always, by immense love and strength”, he passed away surrounded by his family on 18 May 2026, at the Europe Center (The International Diamondway Buddhist Center, Germany) where many of his students and friends from around the world had gathered to meditate together over the past few weeks.

The Summer Course with the Lama Jigme Rinpoche in the Diamond Way Buddhist Retreat Center Becske in Hungary has been postponed to 12-14th June. The program and other information are at the course website.

The International Summer Course at the European Centre will take place from 28 July to 10 August. Lama Ole Nydahl will be present at the EC throughout the course, and teachings and empowerments will be given by Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche and Nedo Rinpoche.
